Fire Weather Watch issued September 28 at 3:16AM CDT until September 29 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In South Dakota, Corson, Dewey, Stanley, Jones and Lyman. * WINDS...South 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control or suppress. A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
