Wind
13.11 8.00 PM 20.00 – 14.11 3.00 PM 15.00
From Wednesday evening to Thursday afternoon it is expected locally strong wind gusts around 30-33 m/s from west. At the coast strong gale force 9, possibly storm force 10 are expected. The wind will increase first in south, and decrease last in north. Loose items may be taken by the wind. Possibly cancelled departures for ferry, plane, or other transport. Bridges may be closed. Some journeys may have longer travel times. The power supply may be impacted, due to tree(s) falling over. Some roads may be closed due to trees or other objects in the road. Secure loose objects. Close windows and doors tightly. Make sure that gutters, scaffolding, aerials and tarpaulins are securely attached. Avoid unnecessary journeys to exposed places. Follow advice and check status from transport operators. Check road reports (175.no). Be careful in coastal areas. In advance consider measures to limit damage.

DNMISnow
13.11 9.00 PM 21.00 – 15.11 6.00 AM 06.00
From Wednesday evening through Friday morning locally up to 20-30 cm of snow in 24 hours is expected. Most likely areas to get snow are areas above 200 m.a.s.l. and inland regions. Most snow is expected during the night. Vulnerable infrastructure can be affected due to accumulation of snow. Travel time may increase on some journeys. Local driving conditions may become difficult. Blowing snow at higher altitudes causes reduced visibility and possibly convoys and/or closed roads. Vulnerable installations and objects should be protected. Allow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.
